چکیده
Abstract This paper analyzes the influence of harmonics on system and importance power factor correction. According to requirements aircraft use, an active correction based three phase six switch topology is designed. The article working process control method system, then designs a rectifier convert 220V/400Hz AC provided by DC high. Moreover, performance tested.

The use of power factor correction (PFC) circuits has been proven to save electrical energy use by up to 25%. When electrical loads are predominantly linear, a simple shunt capacitor will generally be sufficient to improve the power factor. However, as the use of power electronics becomes more prevalent, a more advanced solution using active components is needed. One such active PFC circuit cur...

This paper proposes novel Fuel Cell Auxiliary Power Unit (FCAPU) for J150+ aircraft application. The primary version of APU in J150+ aircraft is a gas turbine Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) which is based on gas turbine jet engine but in the suggested FCAPU, the generated electrical power is achieved from chemical energy with higher efficiency. The Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) technology is used to...

متن کاملSimulation of Active Power Factor Correction Using Boost Type Converter
With the vast development in the usage of Power electronic devices like Rectifiers (nonlinear loads) the current drawn from the line is distorted resulting in a High Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and Low Power Factor (PF). Hence there is a continuous need for Power factor improvement and reduction of line current harmonics. The most popular topology for Active PFC is a boost converter as it d...
